Big Brother Naija 2022: How to Vote Using MyDStv or MyGOtv App?
Since the time the new big brother naija season started, Big Brother Naija pepper dem has been savory and blazing, and Big Brother continues to serve us, the viewers hot sauce as he continually spills forth surprises.
Big Brother has chosen to put the fate of the contestants in the hands of the viewers by allowing them to vote to keep their favorite housemates in the game.
Voting for your favorite housemates this season is a little different because viewers can now vote via the MyDStv or MyGOtv smartphone apps.
The fun part about voting through these two channels is that you earn an extra 100 votes to keep your favorite participant in the competition.
However, note that on either the MyDStv or MyGOtv apps, you only get a chance of an extra 100 votes. So, if you think you can garner 200 more votes by combining the two, you should think again.
You will not get more than 100 additional even if you subscribe to both services. Also, this service is only available to GOtv and DStv subscribers in Nigeria.

To download the MyGotv or MyDStv mobile app, go to the Google Play Store on your Android or the App Store on your Apple device.
Below are the things you must know before proceeding:
- You get an additional 100 votes once you have the MyDStv or MyGOtv App
- Downloading the MyDStv or MyGOtv mobile App from the Google Play Store for Android users or the Apple App Store for iPhone users is easy.
- No form of registration is required on the app: simply log into the app selecting the country Nigeria; your surname or phone number and also your smartcard number.
- Once you have successfully logged into your MyDStv or MyGOtv mobile app account page, search for the “Vote Now” option.
- You must be an active Nigerian DStv or GOtv subscriber to gain access to your 100 free app votes.
- Click on the “Vote Now” option and follow the instructions to cast your vote.

How to register?
To vote, you can register by clicking on the vote now button made available inside the MyDStv or MyGOtv App.
- Click on Register and proceed to enter your name, surname, gender, date of birth, cell phone number in the international format e.g +234312345645 and your preferred password.
- You will be sent a one time pin (OTP) via and on your registered phone number.
- Enter your One Time Pin.
- Once successfully registered, you can easily vote for any contestant of your choice after the nominations on Monday nights.
- MyDStv and MyGOtv App votes are completely free.
- Only data costs apply.
The voting process
You can vote to keep your favorite housemate in the game by clicking on the vote now button available inside the MyDStv or MyGOtv App.
- Click on the Sign-in button and type in your cell phone number in the international format e.g. +23431234544.
- Enter the password you have chosen.
- Select your favorite BBN pepper dem housemate.
- Enter your number of votes and proceed to cast your vote by clicking on VOTE.
- Do not forget that the votes are limited to 100 per DStv or Close user.
- MyDStv and MyGOtv App votes do not cost you money.
- Data costs apply.
Voting starts after the Monday night nomination show that airs at 19:30 WAT. Voting lines Close on Thursday night every week, at exactly 21:00 WAT.
