PATHWAY TO AUSTRALIAN IMMIGRATION

• Figure out your ANZSCO
• Check if you are eligible in the Point Selection System
• Obtain your Skill Assessment Report from the relevant Skill Assessment Authority
• Register your Expression of Interest (EOI) on Skill Select (from creating a profile in the Skill Select Portal to submitting your declaration form)
• Apply for state sponsorship under Subclass 190/491, if required
• Obtain Blood relative sponsorship under Subclass 491, if required
• If EOI is approved, receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
• Initiate your Visa processing with the Department of Home Affairs, Australia
• Submit Health and Character certificates
• Get your Visa

  Skill Assessing Authority: verifies that your abilities meet the requirements necessary to function in a certain occupation.

  The total list of eligible skilled jobs includes 4 occupational lists that cover all relevant occupations, every evaluating authority has unique assessment practices, deadlines, and fees.

  For some visa subclasses (and streams), obtaining a valid skill evaluation is required, whereas it may be requested for other visa subclasses.

   The Skill Assessment Authorities are responsible to inform the applicant on:

  • What education is required?
  • How much minimum work experience is required?
  • What is the English language proficiency requirement?
